... and then it was Christmas
|
|
MCB and Warriparinga Brass played, marched and jingled their way through a variety of christmas performances - through varying weather conditions (sunshine, rain, wind and mozzies) with their usual style, finesse and smiles.
With the catch word of the season being “flexibility, below are some of the photographed highlights, which show the adaptability and dedication of this terrific bunch of people.

Well done to all Warriparinga Brass Junior State Solo entrants and award recipients.
All Warriparinga Brass players received a medallion for their contributions in 2009. With players ranging in age and playing ability from the youngest member who is 8, to the more senior players who also play with MCB, it is an exciting and busy time for the Junior Band. Coming up in 2009 to kick off the year in January will be “Band Camp”, as Warrriparinga Brass will, together with Marion City Band be flying to Hobart in April 2009 for the National Championships......... and so the story will continue next year.

Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year to all.
